Challenge
MTN required a professional, broadcast-quality studio environment capable of supporting live radio productions, podcast recording, and branded media content. The facility needed to meet international broadcast standards while reflecting the MTN brand identity, and had to be delivered on a fixed schedule with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
Solution
CD Consult Africa provided end-to-end studio design and construction: acoustic treatment and interior build-out to achieve suitable isolation and reverberation characteristics for broadcast use; specification and supply of a professional mixing console, digital audio processor, and monitoring systems; structured cabling and patch-bay installation; and integration of on-air signaling. All equipment was configured and tested to broadcast-ready standards before handover.
Outcome
The MTN Yellow Studio was handed over on schedule as a fully operational broadcast facility. The studio is in active use for MTN media productions, demonstrating CD Consult Africa's capability to deliver complex, turnkey studio projects for major corporate clients across Africa.
