What is an FM Bandpass Filter?
An FM Bandpass Filter allows only a specific range of frequencies to pass through a transmission system while rejecting all others. Properly configured, these filters enhance selectivity, power handling, and interference rejection, ensuring compliance with FM radio frequency standards (87.5 – 108 MHz).
Depending on system requirements, filters can be configured in 2, 3, or 4-section designs, providing up to -30 dB rejection across bandwidths from 1 to 4 MHz.
